Vienna’s Skylink terminal sets new standards

As the first passengers arrived at Vienna Airport’s glittering new terminal extension in June, five stylish new outlets from SSP were among the impressive facilities that welcomed them.

Austrian ingredients feature throughout all menus. The new Caffè Ritazza for example will offer the traditional Viennese potato salad, or local sausages with home-made sauerkraut, horseradish sauce and mustard. It will serve a wide range of hand-crafted coffees, including great cappuccino, flat white and latte, alongside local speciality the melange.

At Johann’s Biereck, customers can sample a dish for which Vienna is famous around the world – the wiener schnitzel. At Meinl, they can enjoy a traditional apfel strudel, while the speciality coffees on offer include some of the classics found in the fine coffee houses of the city. The SkyWine Lounge serves a broad selection of wines from Vienna and the surrounding wine-growing regions.
